We are located just 20 minutes north of the Vermont border in the small town of Orford, Quebec. Not much happens here except good skiing and awsome climbing. It's not uncommon for our friends from Rumney drop by and visit.

The company got its start 4 years ago quite by accident, in the back of my tent trailer while road tripping in Red River Gorge, Kentuky. One night after a brutal day of climbing I mixed up a little concoction to help my hands.... by the end of that week everyone at the camp site (Miquel's Pizza shop) was using and loving it!

I went home and made my first batch of Hand Jam and shipped it off to Miquel's, 5 years later here we are with four great products, Liquid Hand Jam, Hand Jam Oil, Liquid Friction and Friction Powder.

In case you are wondering, I'm not some mad scientist, but I was a cosmetician, day spa owner and industry educator for 10 years before becoming a climbing bum. It was a very natural step for me to take what I know about skin care and apply it to climbing. After all what could be harder on your skin that rock and chalk?
